Born on February 13, 1987, in Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture. He started snowboarding at the age of 10 and became a snowboard instructor at the age of 17. In the winter of his 19th year, he moved to Hakuba Village alone and began his career as a professional slopestyle athlete.

Based in Hakuba 47, he skied at ski resorts with snow parks all over Japan, as well as in New Zealand and the United States. It was during this time that he met Shin Kondo at Hakuba 47. At the age of 23, he signed a rider contract with ASICS Corporation (ARBN). After that, he gained experience competing in various competitions, retired as a competitor at the age of 27, went to university, and then got a job at a company in Tokyo.

Since turning 30, I've been living in three locations: Tokyo, Hakuba, and Chiba, continuing my activities as a SUP surfer in the summer and a snowboarder in the winter.

In the fall of 2021, Kondo proposed the construction of a new snow park, and the GORYU PARK project was launched. Currently, I am in charge of human resources, sponsor management, event management, and marketing.
